Denmark Vs Jepang - Rooney suffered an ankle injury while performing at England's third game against Slovenia in Group C on Wednesday (24/06/2010).
In a game that won the "Three Lions" was 1-0, Coach Fabio Capello Rooney pulled and replaced on 72 minutes. Apparently, the Italian coach from consideration because the attackers numbered pulled back 10's ankle injury.
